Bio

Ric Dragon was born outside of Disneyland in 1961.  He currently lives  and works in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia.  After studying with James McDermid at Munson Williams Proctor Institute , he continued his studies with Nicholas Marsicano at SUNY Purchase.  He later started the lithography workshop at the Woodstock School of Art where he taught for several years.  Dragon was dropped down a missile silo during the cold war, caught a chill, and developed a pathological tendency to keeping his  work to himself.

Lets face it, this abstraction shit isn’t really all that popular these days.  What do they call it, “old school”?  But he does have the most rocking studio around.

All right; put a bullet in my head.  This bio stuff is boring.  Born, early 60’s.  Studies with a couple of terrific mentors.  Has struggled to make art for 30 years.  Might be getting somewhere with it. Encourage the poor bastard, buy a piece or two.  Who knows, he might  just get the hang of it.
